Salon Policies

The José Luis Salon prides itself on its expertise in customer care and service. Because of this we uphold a few policies to ensure the ultimate salon experience for our clients and responsibility and care for our stylists.


Service Adjustment Policy

In the case we have not met your expectations with your hair, we would like to invite you back within 48 hours of your service for a complimentary adjustment.

Cancellation Policy

Please take a moment to read and be sure to understand this friendly reminder regarding our cancellation policy.  We value your time just as much as you value our time. Our staff strives to be as flexible as possible to accommodate your needs. Our service providers require a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your scheduled appointment. This means that any changes to previously scheduled appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. This is simply to allow both you and our staff to make the most of the day and meet all the other important commitments we have in our lives. Our salon will try to send all clients a courtesy email or text reminder of scheduled services the day beforehand. Keep in mind this is a courtesy reminder and you are still responsible for the appointments you have made. Failure to notify the salon of changes will result in a charge equivalent to the following:

*1st Cancellation without notice:*  *A charge for ½ of the scheduled service*

*2nd Cancellation or more:* *The client is responsible for the full amount of services booked.*

*No Call/No Show*:  *The client is responsible for the full amount of services booked.*

Credit Card Policy

The José Luis Salon requires a credit card to be on file for all new clients in support of our cancelation policy.  The credit card will not be charged unless you fail to give 24 hours notice or fail to show up at the time of appointment.  You will be notified at the time of the missed appointment of any charges you will be receiving.

Unattended Children

The José Luis Salon has luxury facial rooms to host our skin care clients. In order to ensure these clients relaxation, we request that no unattended children under the age of 12 be allowed in the salon.

Return Policy

The José Luis Salon stands behind all of our product, including Oribe, R + Co, Kérastase, Skinceuticals, Yonka, Rhonda Allison, and Dermalogica. Should you feel dissatisfaction with any of these products, we will gladly apply the full value of the returned products purchased at José Luis Salon to another product of your choice if returned within 14 days from date of purchase.

All sales of jewelry, hair accessories, sale items, and decor are Final Sale. No returns or exchanges.

Gratuity

Gratuity is appreciated but not required for any of our stylists or skincare therapists. We can only accept gratuity in cash or a personal check made out directly to the stylist, or some stylists have VENMO if you're comfortable using. Each team member has their gratuity box located by the front desk and envelopes for your discretion.

Alcohol

The José Luis Salon provides an array of refreshments including wine, sodas, and snacks. We ask that no outside alcohol be brought into the salon and none taken outside the salon at any time.
